Do not rely on the Site to contact a healthcare provider or emergency personnel. We do not continuously monitor communications submitted through the Site and cannot guarantee a timely response to any message.

Except where you have entered into a separate written agreement for clinical services with a licensed provider through The Sanctuary & Co., your use of the Site does not create a doctor–patient, therapist–client, or other treatment relationship. Content on the Site—including articles, self-assessments, screening tools, and general information—is provided for informational and educational purposes only and is not a substitute for professional diagnosis, treatment, or advice from a qualified healthcare provider.

Always seek the advice of a physician, mental health professional, or other qualified provider with any questions about a medical or mental health condition. Never disregard professional advice or delay seeking it because of something you read on the Site.

You must be at least 18 years old to use the Site, or the age of majority in your jurisdiction. If the Site is intended to serve minors, use by a person under 18 requires the consent and supervision of a parent or legal guardian, who agrees to be bound by these Terms. By using the Site, you represent that you meet these requirements and that the information you provide is accurate and complete.

If the Site allows you to create an account, you are responsible for:

• Providing accurate registration information and keeping it current;
• Maintaining the confidentiality of your login credentials;
• All activity that occurs under your account.

Notify us immediately at support@thesanctuaryandcompany.com of any unauthorized use or suspected security breach. We may suspend or terminate accounts at our discretion.

• Post content that is unlawful, obscene, discriminatory, or infringing;

• Attempt to gain unauthorized access to the Site, other accounts, or our systems;
• Impersonate any person or misrepresent your affiliation;
• Use the Site to solicit, market, or distribute unsolicited communications.

We reserve the right to remove content and restrict access for violations.

If the Site permits you to submit content (e.g., forum posts, comments, reviews, messages), you retain ownership of your content but grant us a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free license to use, host, display, and distribute it as necessary to operate the Site. You represent that you have the rights to any content you submit and that it does not violate these Terms or any law.

Do not post confidential health information in any public area of the Site. Content shared in public forums is not private and is not protected by HIPAA or clinical confidentiality.

We do not endorse and are not responsible for user-generated content, and we may—but are not obligated to—monitor, edit, or remove it.

If the Site offers or facilitates clinical or telehealth services, those services are governed by separate consent forms, informed-consent-to-telehealth documents, and service agreements provided at the time of care. Clinical services are available only to individuals located in states or jurisdictions where the treating provider is licensed. Availability of any service does not constitute an offer to provide care where prohibited by law.

All content on the Site—including text, graphics, logos, tools, and software—is owned by or licensed to The Sanctuary & Co. and protected by intellectual property laws. You may access and use the content for your personal, non-commercial use only. You may not reproduce, distribute, modify, or create derivative works without our prior written permission.

The Site may link to third-party websites, resources, or services. We provide these for convenience only and do not endorse or assume responsibility for their content, privacy practices, or accuracy. Your use of third-party sites is at your own risk and subject to their terms.

THE SITE AND ALL CONTENT ARE PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE," WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, express or implied, including warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, accuracy, and non-infringement. We do not warrant that the Site will be uninterrupted, secure, error-free, or that any content is complete, current, or accurate.

We make no warranty regarding any outcome or result from use of the Site or its content, including any self-assessment or screening tool. Screening tools are not diagnostic and do not replace evaluation by a qualified professional.

To the fullest extent permitted by law, The Sanctuary & Co. and its officers, employees, contractors, and affiliates shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for any loss of data, goodwill, or other intangible losses, arising from or related to your use of (or inability to use) the Site—even if advised of the possibility of such damages. Our total aggregate liability shall not exceed the amount you paid us, if any, in the preceding 12 months. Some jurisdictions do not allow certain limitations, so some of the above may not apply to you.

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless The Sanctuary & Co. and its affiliates from any claims, damages, losses, liabilities, and expenses (including reasonable attorneys' fees) arising from your use of the Site, your content, or your violation of these Terms or any law.

We may suspend or terminate your access to the Site at any time, with or without notice, for any reason, including violation of these Terms. Provisions that by their nature should survive termination (including disclaimers, limitation of liability, and indemnification) will survive.

We may modify these Terms at any time. Changes are effective when posted with an updated "Last Updated" date. Your continued use of the Site after changes constitutes acceptance. We encourage you to review these Terms periodically.

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of South Carolina, without regard to conflict-of-law principles. Venue for any dispute shall be the state and federal courts located in the State of South Carolina.

• Severability: If any provision is found unenforceable, the remaining provisions remain in effect.
• Entire Agreement: These Terms, together with the Privacy Policy and any service-specific agreements, constitute the entire agreement between you and us.
• No Waiver: Our failure to enforce any provision is not a waiver of it.
• Assignment: You may not assign these Terms; we may.
